James Walker Belgium is based in Wilrijk and has a team of highly motivated co-workers. Our Wilrijk Internal Sales team is responsible for giving the best service and support to our customers.

The position and its responsibilities

We are looking for an Internal Sales Representative for the sales department in Belgium. The ideal person will report to the Team Leader Internal Sales. You will work in a successful sales team which has the objective to exceed sales targets and business KPI’s.

These will be your main responsibilities:

  • Co-ordinate the day to day management of customers and generate/convert sales opportunities.

  • Prepare commercial proposals and follow-through the different steps of the sales process. The result should lead to profitable sales opportunities.

  • Communicate with customers and understand their business needs. Identify sales opportunities.

  • During your daily activities you co-operate closely with the sales team and provide top sales support.

  • Quite often you are the first contact with customers. In this, you build effective relationships, ensure customer retention and nurture loyalty by providing excellent customer service. Handling complaints by providing satisfactory solutions with a smile.

  • You follow-up on proposals, requests by customers, solved complaints and support for the sales team. In fact, you are the spider in the web who keep all stakeholders satisfied and the organization successful.

What we ask for

For this exciting inside sales job we need someone with:

  • At least a A2 Level or Bachelor degree certification, preferably supplemented with a technical/commercial degree and a minimum of 3 years of experience.

  • Who can handle responsibility, show initiative and go for the commercial success.

  • Flexibility and at the same time accurate at work.

  • A feeling for language. French, Flemish and English are the most used languages.

  • Experience in using MS Office, Word and Excel.

  • Preferably you live in the area.
