Location: Germany / Hamburg, James Walker

The position

In the position of Team Leader Internal Sales at James Walker you are responsible for managing, motivating and developing the Internal Sales Team based in Hamburg. As a professional manager your main task and objective is to deliver sound results by creating awareness of what a goal oriented Internal Sales Team should do: putting customers at first place, delivering above average results and retain these customers by keeping them happy and satisfied. Naturally your team also grasps all opportunities to acquire new business.

Your tasks and responsibilities

  • Managing, guiding and developing the Internal Sales Team.

  • In this you are capable of coaching and supporting the team.

  • You are able to design and implement the sales strategy in close co-operation with the sales manager. In the end, this leads to challenging but realistic sales objectives.

  • The external sales team is you professional partner in growing sales results. This means close co-operation and team work.

  • For this key position it’s also important to actively participate in the internal processes, reporting of your analysis and statistics.

  • And last but not least: close collaboration with the supply chain management regarding KPI’s, orders and shipments.

What we ask for

To be able to handle this position successfully, you need to bring the following with you:

  • A degree in Business Administration or industrial engineering or the equivalent in training and/or experience.

  • At least five years of sales experience in an industrial/technical organization.

  • Experience in leading a (commercial) team.

  • It is important that you are a self-starter who has pretty nice negotiating and communication skills.

  • You are the type of professional who looks at solutions and solves any problems on your path.

  • And we really would like to know if you have good knowledge of English.
